Diary of an Extreme Cowgirl

Every cowgirl has an Extreme Story. So What's Yours?

I am working on many updates. I apologize for being MIA.
I had a very tragic event, Feb 2009, and I seemed to shut down with writers block.

Follow along as I dust myself off after being paralyzed from a broken neck.
Are you an Extreme Cowgirl?
Soon you can add your story to http://www.extremecowgirls.com/

Have the horse!

Posted by Extreme_Cowgirl

A friend has a 5 yr old reining stallion that she has offered for me to borrow.
His name is "Bowen"
only thing is, he has only being doing arena work.
Sheltered boy :)
But sweet and seems to be a fast learner.

I need to make a video for the producers to see, most likely to see if my leg is better.
so need to come up with some extreme things to do :)
Wonder if I can convince the stable owner to let me take the tractor and dig holes to fill with water ;)

Got the call...

They are looking for contestants again and asked if I was interested.
Of course I am.
When I did the show last time, I was the true underdog.
I couldn't feel my left leg at all and had little use of the left side.
BUT! I finished the course and did really well in the skill obstacles but in the ones that needed leg strength, well lets face it I sucked.

But here we are a year later and I am doing great. I can run almost like I used to and my riding has come back as well.

I have been riding and showing a few horses.
I had a horse ready to compete but there is a new rule where the horses need to be 7yrs or under. Rules out all the horses I had ready

So the search is on for this years horse.
Season 6 will be on the east coast though, so if picked I wil have to raise the money for the long drive over.
